Sewer Bills

October 1, 2004 the Township of Spring contracted with the PA American Water Company to bill and collect waste water charges for the Township of Spring. As of that date the charges for waste water are based on the quantity of water used and you will no longer receive a quarterly sewer bill. PA American bills on a monthly basis.

For the first 3750 gallons a resident is charged $22.80; an additional charge of $4.56 is billed for every 750 gallons thereafter. If you have questions regarding the billing please contact the business office at 610-678-5393.

If you live in the West Lawn Borough area of the Township your rate for sewer is $10 for the first 2500 gallons (or 334 cu. ft.) and $3.00 for every 750 gallons (100 cu. ft.) thereafter.

Registration for Sewer Bills and Census
When calling to register for Sewer billing and the Census be ready to answer questions about the following for everyone living in the household:

Name

Date of Birth

Employer or School

Application for Pool Credit

If you install a pool or already have a pool you are eligible for a yearly waste water credit for adding water to that pool. Complete the Application for Pool Credit email, fax – 610-678-4571, or mail the application along with a copy of the specification page from the pool company (specifications required for new pools only). New pools will receive credit for the entire amount of water used. Yearly renewal of application will receive 20% of the volume of the pool. Do not call the water company for the credit.
