2012 SUMMER PLAYGROUND, JR. PLAYGROUND AND TOT LOT PROGRAMS
REGISTRATION BEGINS JANUARY 1, 2012 – ENDS JUNE 1, 2012 LATE REGISTRATION PERIOD – JUNE 2, 2012 – ENDS JUNE 22, 2012 (Additional $30.00 per child fee applied during Late Registration Period) LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS BY NOON, FRIDAY, JUNE 22, 2012 REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER JUNE 22, 2012
PROGRAM DATES: Monday, June 11, 2012 to Friday, July 27, 2012.
Children will enjoy age appropriate activities including: arts & crafts, dance, sports and games, field trips, special events, guest speakers and much more. Children throughout Spring Township and the Wilson School District are invited and encouraged to attend the nearest supervised Playground, JR Playground or Tot Lot Program. LOCATIONS: Breneman Park, Colony Park, Cornwall Terrace Park, Drexelwood Park, LenOak Park, Red Caboose Park
PLAYGROUND & JR. PLAYGROUND HOURS TOT LOT HOURS Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 1:30 pm
TOT LOT HOURS Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 11:00 am 4 & 5 year olds
PLAYGROUND & TOT LOT REGISTRATION FEES Sibling discount applies to children in the same household regardless of which program they are in. Township Resident Discount Rates: $55.00 – 1st child; $45.00 – each additional child in the same household Resident Family (4+ children) - $175.00 Non-Township Resident Rates: $85.00 – 1st child; $75.00 – each additional child in the same household Late Registration Fee: $30.00 per child – June 2, 2012 – June 22, 2012
All registrations and payments MUST be received through the Parks & Recreation Department. Registrations will NOT be accepted at the playground sites.
LEADERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A COMPLETED REGISTRATION FORM, BEFORE A CHILD CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAMS.
The first day children attend the Playground or Tot Lot Program, they will receive a parent information packet, summer schedule and T-Shirt. The Township requires a playground site to have 20 children registered by June 1, 2012 in order for the program to run so please register early. PLAYGROUND PROGRAM AGES: 8 - 13 years of age during June and July 2012. JR. PLAYGROUND PROGRAM AGES: 6 & 7 years of age during June and July 2012. The children in this program will do age appropriate activities, separate from Playground and Tot Lot. TOT LOT PROGRAM: 4 & 5 years of age during June and July 2012. NOTE: A 3-year old who will be 4 by October 1, 2012 may attend Tot Lot; however, a parent/guardian 16 yrs. and older MUST accompany and assist the child with activities during the entire session! Registration for Playground and Tot Lot Field Trips will be available May 1, 2012.
