This energetic, enthusiastic group will be planning more exciting endeavors for 2011. If you are age 55 and better and if you like to socialize, meet new people or occasionally just need something different to do, then the “Spring Seniors” is for you!

SPRING SENIORS meet the first Friday of the month at 10:00 am in the West Lawn United Methodist Church Community Center, located on Woodside Ave., above the West Lawn/Wyomissing Hills Library. Monthly guest speakers, themed party lunches, trips and more!

Seniors Wii Bowling League
Form Your Own Team

Wii Sports is the surprise hit game package for the Nintendo Wii.  Have some fun and get a little exercise while bowling on
a big screen.  Low impact exercise (without a 12 lb bowling ball) that is lots of fun for everyone.

For seniors, part of the appeal of Wii bowling is the nostalgia. It mimics the moves a bowler makes in an actual bowling alley,
only players don’t have to reserve a lane, don bowling shoes or pick up a heavy ball. They just have to be able to wave their hand.

Anyone can Wii Bowl. You can bowl actively by taking steps or passively by sitting in a chair.

Form your own team of four bowlers
Date: Friday’s, now through April 29, 2011
AM start time will be given to each team, approx. 45 minutes to bowl two games.

HOW TO REGISTER

• 1. Call 610-678-5399 or email thettinger@springtwpberks.org, with the following:
  Team Name
  Bowlers Names
  Team Captain, phone number
  
  2. Each team must have four bowlers each week to bowl. It will be the team’s responsibility to find a sub.
  Subs can be bowlers from another team.
  
  3. Team captains will be given start time to inform other team bowlers.
