Both Spring Township has enacted ordinances which establish standards for and regulate the installation, maintenance, and operation of alarm devices presently existing or thereafter installed or terminated within Spring Township.

The Alarm ordinances make it mandatory for property owners of both residences and businesses having alarm devices to register the alarm device with the Spring Township Police Department.

The Spring Township Police Department enforces the rules and regulations of the alarm ordinances in both Spring Township (Ordinance No. 210) and West Lawn Borough (Ordinance No. 303).
