Officer Brian S.
Heere is a graduate of Muhlenberg High School. In 1983, he enlisted
in the Army National Guard and was trained as a
Military Policeman at Fort McClellen in Alabama. He served six years
in the National Guard.
In 1985, he attended and graduated from
the
Reading Police Academy where he was Vice President of his class.
Shortly after graduating from police academy, he started working
part time
and eventually full time as an officer for Lower Heidelberg Township.
Officer Heere joined the Spring Township force in January of 1990.
Among his duties at Spring Township, Officer Heere is certified
in
the operation of Commercial Vehicle Inspections for enforcement of state and federal Motor Carrier Laws.
Officer Heere is also a member
of the Berks County Fraternal Order of Police Honor Guard. In his
off time, Officer Heere enjoys spending time with his two children
as well as a variety of outdoor activities. |
