Chief Ross began his law enforcement career in Berks County, where he served as a patrol officer for the Boroughs of Topton and Kutztown. He was subsequently appointed the Chief of Police for the Borough of Topton Police Department in 1985. This department grew into the Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Department where Chief Ross supervised 24 officers and provided police services for 24,000 residents residing in four separate municipalities in two counties. Chief Ross retired as Chief of Police from the Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Department in May 2006 and immediately continued his career in policing by accepting a position as Chief of Police in Upper Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County. Chief Ross is enthusiastic about returning to his home county to continue his law enforcement career. |
