Officer Bill Van Etten

Sergeant Bill P. Van Etten began his Law Enforcement career in 1988 after graduating from Alvernia College with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice System Administration. Sergeant Van Etten has been certified through the Federal and State Departments of Transportation to conduct commercial motor vehicle inspections. He has also been certified as an Emergency Medical Technician. He was promoted to Corporal in 2003, and to Sergeant in 2005. He is currently assigned as the Patrol Supervisor of "B" Platoon, and is also responsible for grant administration for all Emergency Services. During his off duty time he enjoys spending time with his children, fishing, and wood working.
