After serving in the US Marine Corps for 4 years, Sergeant Edward Makosch started his law enforcement career in Sinking Spring Borough in 1996, later joining Spring Township Police in 1998. 
He enjoys the community for which he continues to serve.  Sgt Makosch has been involved with many aspects of the police department including Firearms Instructor, Vehicle Weigh Master, Police Negotiator, and Community Relations events.  Above all, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
