Sergeant James Lake is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Officer Lake entered the Montgomery County Police Academy in 1996. In 1997, after graduation he joined his hometown police force in Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania. In 1998 he became an officer with Spring Township. Officer Lake is one of three Field Training Officers in the department. In his off duty time he enjoys boating, fishing, and physical fitness including long distance running.
