Detective Long graduated from the Reading Police Academy in 1987.  He began his career in Law Enforcement with the District Attorney's Office as a Narcotics Investigator in 1988.  From 1989 - 2004, he worked as a Police Officer for the Central Berks Regional Police Department.  Officer Long was hired in March of 2004.  He brings over 15 years of experience, including the FBI Inter-County Detective School and being a Certified Police Cyclist.  Detective Long enjoys cycling, golf and vacationing with his wife.
