Berks County Comprehensive Plan Update Public Survey

The Berks County Planning Commission is in the process of updating the current County Comprehensive Plan. Over the next month the Berks County Planning Commission will be soliciting citizen input on community perceptions, needs, and issues impacting future growth. Citizen input is extremely important as the comprehensive plan can affect every resident’s way of life. The survey can be accessed via the front page of the planning commission’s website at:

Survey responses will be accepted until the close of business on August 11th, 2017.

The Berks County Comprehensive Plan will make recommendations in the areas of land use, transportation, economic development, parks and open space, historical, environmental, and cultural resources, and housing. Many other important issues will be considered.
