Instructors from Berks Encore will help you to reduce the fear of falling through fall prevention education and management. Participants will learn to view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make home modifications to reduce falls and learn low impact targeted exercises to increase strength and balance.

An extremely gentle form of yoga for anyone wanting the many benefits of yoga without having to get up and down from the floor. Students will experience postures and breathing exercises using the support of a chair. Develop greater mobility, increased range of motion and ease of movement in everyday activities.

This program focuses on helping the individual living with diabetes to better manage their disease through monitoring, physical activity, healthy eating, coping skills and strategies for daily living, relaxation techniques and working with the health care system.  Open to pre-diabetics, diabetics and family members.
