Betsy Ross invites you to join her in her upholstery shop to watch as she builds the American Stars and Stripes on a colorful felt storyboard, step -by-step. Along the way, Betsy dispels myths about herself and the Flag so your family can develop an accurate understanding of our Nation’s emblem. Audience participation is included in this family friendly program.

Dressed in period clothing, our presenter will take you on a journey to experience gardening and farming practices during the 1700’s Colonial Era and beyond through the 1800s. You will learn what was grown and harvested for trade, survival and profit. Discover interesting facts about Colonial rural family life as it pertains to living and working on the farm. After the presentation, you are invited to exam over 30 antique farming tools that will be on display.
