Due to the extremely dry conditions and sub-average rainfall, Spring Township Supervisors issued a Township-wide ban on open, outdoor burning and prohibited the unnecessary use of water. Both regulations are effective immediately and are temporary as of 10/29/2024 but have been extended to 12/31/2024 by the Board of Supervisors as of 11/25/2024.
Open Outdoor Burning = Burn barrels; backyard fire pits and rings; fires on the ground.
Unnecessary Use of Water = Watering lawns, flowers, shrubs; filling swimming pools; residential vehicle washing.
