New Traffic Patterns and Signage

Please see below and follow the link for locations of new traffic signage and changes to traffic patterns. The Township is preparing to take full dedication of the extension of Iroquois Avenue that connects Hillvale Avenue and Dwight Street and open the end of the road by CJ’s Tire. Along with this new thruway the following traffic patterns and signs will be instituted:

  • Warning signage along Iroquois Avenue for the two midblock crossings.
  • New “Stop” sign at the intersection of Spohn Road and Hillvale Avenue approaching Spohn Road from Hillvale Avenue.
  • New “No Left Turn” sign at the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Shillington Road (SR 724) at the approach from Garfield Avenue. Left turns on to Shillington Road (SR 724) are no longer permitted from this intersection.
  • New “Stop” sign at the intersection of Girard Avenue and Heister Boulevard approaching Heister Boulevard from Girard Avenue.
  • New Crosswalks around the intersection of Iroquois Avenue / Cleveland Avenue and Dwight Street, as well as warning signage approaching the intersection on Dwight Street from both directions.
