    Berks County has been advised that there are technical issues impacting the delivery of 9-1-1 calls throughout Pennsylvania. PEMA and its call handling provider are engaged and investigating. Callers in Berks County needing to reach 9-1-1 should try using 9-1-1 but, if the call cannot be connected, they should hang up and dial 610-655-4911. PLEASE do not “test” whether 9-1-1 works, simply be aware of this alternative means to contact 9-1-1 in Berks County if you need.
