Winter Weather Information:

A significant winter storm is forecasted in our area. Spring Township has prepared all our equipment and staff, and we are ready to go. We have few suggestions to help make our jobs easier and help residents with clean up.

  • No forward-facing parking in cul-de-sacs, try to get your vehicles in the driveway. If you can’t, please park along the curb, making it easier for our trucks to get around you.
  • Remove any trailers and RVs from the street.
  • Do not shovel or throw your snow back onto the roadways.
  • Wait to clean up the end of your driveways if possible. We will not be plowing curb to curb until the storm is over. When we clean up, snow will pile at the end of your driveway. If you wait to clean it up, it will limit the amount of snow deposited there by our plows.
  • The temperature will be extremely cold. The effects of rock salt become limited below 20 degrees. Your roads will not melt quickly during this time.
  • Do not drive unless you absolutely must. Our crews will be out throughout the duration of the storm. It takes longer during a large snow event to get around to every road. We will do the best we can, please have patience. Your co-operation is key to us doing the best job we can for you.

Enjoy the storm, stay safe and warm. Spring Township will be working diligently throughout the storm.
