Yard Waste Sites
In accordance with Chapter 10 Part 4 of the Township of Spring Codification of Ordinances, Ordinance 457 states that the yard waste collection facility is intended for Township of Spring residents only. Non-residents, Commercial landscapers, lawn mowing companies and similar entities shall be prohibited from using the Collection Facilities. Only yard residuals shall be accepted at the Collection Facility. No other recyclable material, rubbish, trash, waste or garbage is accepted at the Facility. Yard waste residuals shall be placed in the proper locations as indicated by the posted yard waste signs. No bags or containers are to be left at the site. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate the ordinance, shall upon conviction, be subject to a penalty of not less than $100.00 and not more than $600.00. Yard Waste Sites FAQ
Yes. After registration, you will be able to access both Yerger Blvd and Goose Ln with your access card.
Annual renewal fee is $10.00, and renewal invoices are sent in November.
Lost/damaged replacement card fee is $20.00. A reminder that the access card should be kept away from cell phones, credit cards/other key fobs and direct sunlight. Consider keeping it in your glove compartment.
Access cards expire at the end of the calendar year (December 31st).
Only one access card can be issued per household. Anyone in the household may use the card, but you may not give your card to neighbors or landscapers.
You must be a resident of the township to successfully register. Registration fee is $20.00, payment must be in the form of a check or cash, and you must have a valid ID as proof of residency.
Hours of operation are as follows:
April 1st through October 31st 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
November 1st through March 31st 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

No. Access cards should only be used by township residents that have registered for one.
If anyone is found to have violated the rules and regulations, access cards will be permanently disabled and the ability to re-register in the future will not be possible. Violations are also subject to penalties of not less than $100.00 nor more than $600.00, plus cost of prosecution. Each instance violation shall constitute a separate offense.
